Harrisburg LAST UPDATE!

Hello All! 

Below is a copy of the email I received from Sister Lauretta, there are some conflicting times being sent out to the HS students involving an 8:00am arrival time however it appears that as long as you are seated ON THE BUS before 9:00am you should be fine! Please remember

Dress Code: School Uniform (clean ideally :-D) 

Instrument: Bring everything you need reeds, valve oil, etc

Music: ALL YOUR MUSIC! (I found the BASS folder left at ABW)

Music Stand: May not need one but lets bring some folding ones just in case!

Lunch Money: $10

Tip Money: $2-3 for bus driver

DVDs: If you wanna watch a movie on the bus!

When arriving at carroll drive around the school until you see 2 large stage coach buses! Thats us! PLEASE CALL MY CELL if you have any issues 215-290-4887

The bus will leave Archbishop Carroll High School promptly at 9:00 AM.  We will load the buses at 8:30 AM.

11:00 - Arrive in Harrisburg, set up, and eat lunch.

12:00 to 1:00 PM - Perform

1:00 PM - Tour of the building

1:30-2:00 PM - depart

3:30 - 4:00 PM - Arrive back at Carroll

Here is all the Harrisburg details. OCE is asking each student to bring $10 to pay for our pizza lunch.

The bus will leave Archbishop Carroll High School promptly at 9:00 AM.  We will load the buses at 8:30 AM.

P.S. we normally put together a little tip for the bus driver so if you have some small bills ($2-3) that would help us put something together!

Dates and time update

Hello Parents,

I am sorry for the delay in updating you on times and dates. I have been scrambling with our school musical and am trying hard to keep everything straight!

This weekend Feb 28th is the Festival Band Concert at Archbishop Wood HS (ABW) we will meet at 1:30in the band room to rehearse the concert will be held at 4:30PM Please have students look at 

March 1st. Harrisburg Trip- I will send another email today or tomorrow with bus times and confirm locations. We have left from Carroll the last 2 years so I am assuming it is the same! 

Saturday March 5th we will be at VJM for the St. Katherine Drexel Jazz Festival which starts at 7pm. Please arrive at 6:00-6:15 to tune and warm up! 

Saturday March 19th will be the Jazz Fest at St. Aloysius I cannot attend this even as it is the same day as my school musical so there will be a guest conductor running the band. Call time is 6:00PMShow starts at 7:00PM

Other Rehearsals- Depending on how Sunday Feb 28th Goes I may try to squeeze 1 extra rehearsal before our competitions start I will let the students and parents know after this weekend if we need more time to prep!

Friday's Concert @ Archbishop Carol

Hello Parents/Students,

Just a reminder that THIS FRIDAY is the Honor Band / Jazz Band concert at Archbishop Carol.  Students will arrive at 12:15 for Honor Band rehearsal.  Jazz Bands rehearsal time is 3:30-4:00 please arrive in uniform and ready to play. The concert begins at 7pm sharp! Students will be fed dinner prior to the show. See you all Friday!
